For the Philippines to really have a fair chance at a decent progressive future the political scenery needs a massive reworking
1) Term limits for all duly elected officials of no more than 2 consecutive terms and a maximum of 3 terms all together.
2) An upper age limit of 50 for all duly elected officials.
3) To prevent political dynasties no more than one member of any family or close relative should be allowed to hold an elected position in either the senate or congress at any given time
4) No one who has broken the law or been proven guilty of any crime should be allowed to hold any kind of government post.
